Arame Salad Recipe

1 Package Organic Arame

1/2 Cup Sliced Carrots

1/2 Cup Chopped Onion

1/4 Cup Chopped Red Pepper

The Juice of 1 Lime

Dash Salt

1 to 2 Teaspoons Grated Ginger

1 Small Finely Chopped Clove of Garlic

1 to 2 Drops of Liquid Sweetener

1/2 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Directions:

1. Rehydrate the Arame – Place 1/2 package of Arame into bowl of room temperature water for 5 to 10 minutes. Once hydrated, chop into bite sized pieces (should be about 2 cups, chopped).

2. Slightly cook chopped carrots, chopped red peppers, and chopped onions in a skillet with a 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil.

3. Place Arame, carrots, peppers, and onion in a bowl and lightly toss.

4. Make a Lime-Olive Oil dressing: Place finely chopped clove of garlic in separate dish. Add grated ginger, the juice from one lime, and twice that much olive oil. Add a dash of salt and mix in the liquid sweetener. Stir making sure mixture combines well. Add as much dressing as you need.
